Swansway Volkswagen Van Centre Liverpool loaned a van to a group of fundraisers who visited 10 music festival in 48 hours.
Staff from Skiddle, an event and ticketing outlet, embarked on a marathon two days as they stop off at festivals as far north as Cumbria and as far south as Portsmouth.
Three fundraisers clocked-up almost 1,000 miles with a drive time of 15 hours in the Transporter Kombi which has been handed to them for the Bank Holiday weekend by the van centre in Speke, Liverpool.
Skiddle are carrying out the fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Trust and have set themselves a £150,000 target.
David Cowan, Head of Business from Swansway Volkswagen Van Centre Liverpool said: “We were contacted by Skiddle who told us about this fantastic fundraising challenge and we wanted to support them anyway we could.
“Macmillan Cancer Trust is a charity very close to our heart and there was no hesitation loaning a van to help raise money for such an essential cause for so many people.
“The branding on the Transporter Kombi looks excellent and it will be there for all to see across the length and breadth of the country.”
Richard Dyer, co-founder and Director of Skiddle, added: “We thank Swansway Volkswagen Van Centre Liverpool for providing us with this van which has enabled us to carry-out what will no-doubt be a true test of stamina."
